Where
Do We Go From Here? |
| |
1. |
Immediate
work on the facility as outlined by Bob Keil with as
little structural change as possible. (see below) |
| |
2. |
Continued
input from church and community regarding long-term facility use. |
| |
3. |
Prioritization
of input from church and community. |
| |
4. |
Architectural
plan reflecting long-term facility use priorities. |

|
Part
II |
|
| |
Immediate
Priorities |
| |
1. |
Repair
roof and remove smoke stack. These two go together because the space
where the stack has to be removed will have to be roofed and all roofing
should be done at one time. |
| |
2. |
Get
water leaks repaired and at least part of the commodes functional
for all of us working in the building as well as drinking water. |
| |
3. |
Isolate
the electricity to the new section to save church unneeded expense
on electricity. We need switches in the lobby area for the back hallway,
bathrooms, etc. without going to the circuit breaker panel each time
we turn the lights off and on. All lights and power off in the three
old theaters. |
| |
4. |
Make
determination whether we use the disassembled seats in west auditorium,
store them in old section, or dispose of them. |
| |
5. |
Isolate
the new section from old so that we do not have cross contamination
when we start mold remediation. |
| |
6. |
Mold
remediation and removal of damaged sheet rock. |
| |
7. |
Repair
walls and new sheet rock in foyer. |
| |
8. |
Repair
sprinkler system |
| |
9. |
Repair
alarm systems, fire and security before removing the boarded up front
entrance. |
| |
10. |
Repair
& start up HVAC systems. |
